Company news

Health Minister and local MP Dr Dan Poulter enjoyed the fun and entertainment of the Lehmann House Residential Care Home summer fete when he officially opened the day at 2.30pm on 13th July.

The MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, who recently visited Lehmann House to meet the team and residents, was delighted to return to Lehmann House as the fete’s VIP guest.

Dr Dan Poulter, MP said: “It was a great pleasure to visit the residents again and to help with the annual summer fete.”

Residents, Care UK colleagues and all their relatives and visitors enjoyed a wide range of activities including face painting, a tombola and the care home’s annual dog show with prizes given for best in show, cutest dog and other categories. The care home team also put on a BBQ with tea, coffee and ice cream.

Lehmann House Manager, Marie Reeve, said: “Our summer fete is a fantastic time for all the residents, our colleagues and their families to come together. We were thrilled to have Dr Dan Poulter here to open the fete as he has been very supportive of our work here at Lehmann House”.
