Blyford wellbeing centre in Lowestoft will be hosting a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 27th September. The event is one of thousands to be held across the UK all aiming to raise money and awareness of the support that Macmillan gives to millions of people whose lives are affected by cancer.
Care UK colleagues at Blyford will be serving cakes baked by wellbeing centre customers, bacon rolls and drinks as well as hosting a small raffle. Everyone is welcome to attend from 10am to 12pm and all proceeds will go directly to Macmillan.
Amanda Smith, manager at Blyford wellbeing centre, said: “We look forward to hosting the coffee morning as it is for such a worthy cause. Wellbeing centre customers have been busy baking cakes in preparation and we all hope the community will come along and help us raise as much money as we can”.
Blyford wellbeing centre is at 61, Blyford Road, Lowestoft NR32 4PZ and all are welcome to attend the charity coffee morning from 10am to 12pm on Friday 27th September.
