People of Stratford-upon-Avon invited to plan care for the future

Company news

People in Stratford-upon-Avon are invited to find out more about planning care for the future on Thursday 15 January from 2pm to 3pm and 3.30pm to 4:30pm at Care UK’s Ambleside care home.

The team at Ambleside is joining forces with Perdeep Asi, financial planner at Ashcourt Rowan, for a free information seminar. Perdeep will be sharing his knowledge and providing practical guidance on funding long term care – whether caring for someone in their own home or looking at care homes – and visitors will have the opportunity to ask their own questions.

Home manager, Dawn Leaver, explained why she is opening the doors to Ambleside for the planning care for the future seminars. “We often find that people find it difficult to make decisions about the care of a loved one, particularly if there is lack of support and advice available.

“By hosting the free information seminars here at Ambleside, we can open up direct access to trusted professionals who can clearly explain the options when it comes to funding care, and we can also lend our support to the people of Stratford-upon-Avon who are thinking about making plans for the future care for their loved ones right now.”

People who attend either of the free information seminars at Ambleside can collect a copy of Care UK’s ‘Listen, Talk, Connect’ guide, which helps friends and relatives to overcome the challenges they may face in having conversations and general interactions with those living with dementia.

Situated on Evesham Road, Ambleside is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short term respite care. Designed to support residents to live enjoyable and fulfilling lives, the care home has a cinema and hair salon, and there is plenty of space both indoors and out for relaxation and recreation.
