Peninsula to sponsor Rising Star Chamber award

Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre is to sponsor the Rising Star award in the very first Plymouth and Devon Chamber Awards.

Patricia Warwick, Hospital Director of Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring this award. At Peninsula we set great store in nurturing and developing our own rising stars, and creating our own home-grown talent. Anything we can do to encourage those with a bright future is seen as a sound investment by us, and this is mirrored in the excellence of our patient experience which keeps people choosing us for NHS treatment time and time again.”

The Awards will offer Chamber member companies the opportunity to nominate themselves or their peers to be considered for six categories including Small Business of the Year, Medium Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year sponsored by Redrok, Networker of the Year sponsored by Viewhear, Exporter of the Year sponsored by The Growth Hub and the Rising Star Award sponsored by Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre to recognise young business talent.

The awards are free to enter for Plymouth and Devon Chamber of Commerce members, with entries open until Friday 31^st July. All entries will be judged by a panel of independent business leaders ahead of a black tie awards ceremony on Friday 18^th September at the National Marine Aquarium.
