Mildenhall Club to host coffee morning for Macmillan

Members and colleagues at the Mildenhall Club are calling on the local community to join them for coffee and cake in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Mildenhall Club, which is adjacent to Mildenhall Lodge care home in St John’s Close, will be opening its doors as part of Macmillan’s national fundraising event, ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, on Friday 25th September from 10.30am-12noon.

Ann Pitcher, manager at the Mildenhall Club, said: “Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is a flagship fundraising event each year and we’re really looking forward to taking part. Our chef Alan Cash, who is through to the semi-finals of Care UK’s Chef of the Year competition, will be baking some delicious cakes for the event.

Colleagues, Club members and their relatives are also encouraged to bring in their favourite sweet treats to share. All are welcome to pop in and help us fundraise as much as we can for Macmillan.”
