From 1pm until 3pm, the team at the care home on Dame Mary Walk are joining forces with Kay Fisher from independent financial advisers, Plan Money, and Sacha Tiller, director of Age Legal Services. The free information-led event will provide guidance on funding long-term care and powers of attorney – whether caring for someone in their own home or looking at residential care.
After the event, the experts will be on hand to answer any questions. There will be an opportunity for members of the public to meet the team at Colne View and take a closer look at the care home, including the Woodland Walk suite which is dedicated to specialist dementia care.
David Martins, customer relations manager at Colne View, said: “At Care UK, we understand having access to the right information and clearly delivered advice can help families make sense of their available options. We have therefore invited Kay Fisher and Sacha Tiller along to lead this free event at Colne View.
“As trusted professionals with a wealth of experience in matters surrounding the funding of care and powers of attorney, we are sure they will help to transform the experiences of many who are looking into planning care for the future. All are welcome; however places are limited so I would urge those interested to register their attendance.”
