The summer fun day is the highlight of the Crowborough events calendar, having attracted an estimated 7,000 local people to the town centre last year. The 2016 event is set to be better than ever, welcoming back the popular French Market as well as street entertainers, face painters, a bouncy castle and lots more, including live music to get everyone in the summer spirit.
From 9am to 5pm the team at Heather View care home will be at the event on Crowborough High Street and will be on hand to answer any questions local residents may have about what life is like at Heather View.
Heather View home manager, Trish Banks, said: “We are delighted to be part of this year’s summer event. It is always eagerly anticipated by locals and is a great, fun day for all the family. Fingers crossed the sun will be shining!”
All those who visit Heather View’s stall at the event can also pick up a copy of Care UK’s latest advice guide for family carers, Eating as we age, which is packed with hints and tips for keeping healthy and hydrated in older age. The guide can also be downloaded at www.careuk.com/eat.
