Tailored to the individual
We help each resident, whatever their needs, to enjoy fulfilling and meaningful experiences. We'll get to know your loved one well – finding out as much as we can about their life, hobbies and interests. We’ll then create care and lifestyle plans that will enable them to get the most out of every day.
Offering both dementia care and nursing dementia care, our Crowborough-based team are fully experienced and all undergo specialist training when they join Care UK. We also provide residential care, nursing care and short-term respite care, as well as end-of-life care, so you can focus on what’s important.
Our care home is designed with your loved one’s comfort and care in mind. Each of the 74 bedrooms at Heather View is light and spacious, with en-suite facilities, television, electronically adjustable bed, and a 24-hour nurse call system. Many have lovely views or open directly onto our gardens.
Keeping busy every day
When your loved one joins us at Heather View, we’ll support them to continue to enjoy the things they used to – including coffee mornings, flower arranging, gardening and outings. There’s always something different to look forward to as well. Of course, during COVID-19, our activities have looked a little different, but the team have worked hard to continue favourite things to do whilst maintaining social distancing, as well as creating some new activities so residents always have plenty to keep them happy and entertained. We’ve also embraced new technology, using electronic tablets not only to help keep in touch with loved ones, but also to enjoy virtual entertainment such as streaming concerts, or even to learn new skills.
