Framlingham care home to host coffee morning for Macmillan

Home news

Residents and colleagues at Mills Meadow care home are calling on the local community to join them for coffee and cake in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Mills Meadow will be opening its doors as part of Macmillan’s national fundraising event, ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, on Friday, 30th September, from 10.30am to 12pm.

Marie Reeve, home manager at Mills Meadow, said: “Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is a flagship fundraising event each year and we’re really looking forward to taking part. We’ll be holding a ‘posh tea party’ with our head chef and other colleagues baking some delicious cakes, biscuits and sweet treats for the event. All are welcome to pop in and help us fundraise as much as we can for Macmillan.”

Mills Meadow is one of six Care UK care homes taking part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning across Suffolk, all raising money for the vital work of Macmillan Cancer Support. For more information about the Mills Meadow coffee morning on September 30, call Care UK customer relations manager Angela Hodge on 0333 321 1983.
