On Saturday 26th November, from 2pm – 4pm, the Care UK team at Sherwood Grange on Robin Hood Lane will open the doors to the home to bring festive cheer to the town.
A selection of tasty Christmas treats will be on offer and visitors will be able to start their Christmas shopping, with a number of stands at the market selling homemade gifts including jewellery, scarves, and locally produced honey.
Sherwood Grange home manager, Rick Mayne, said: “There have been so many highlights since we opened in June, and we’re all looking forward to celebrating Christmas here at the home. It is important to us to forge relationships with the local community, and inviting them to our very first Christmas market is a great way to spread the festive feeling.
“We hope to make all our residents feel at home by kicking off the festive celebrations with plenty of traditional activities. We look forward to welcoming local people to Sherwood Grange for what promises to be an exciting afternoon of delicious food and Christmas shopping.”
