Residents at Whitby Dene were joined by local people for an afternoon of entertainment at the annual event.
Special visitor the Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Carol Melvin, joined local people and residents to enjoy live music from John Longo, and a performance from Arch Productions who were on hand to keep everyone entertained throughout the afternoon.
There was fun for all the family with a bouncy castle, ball pit and plenty stalls for a spot of shopping, and residents and guests were treated to a delicious barbecue. Those feeling brave enough also had the chance to get up close with the animals from Mill Cottage Farm Experience, including alpacas and goats.
Saad Baig, home manager at Whitby Dene, commented: “We were delighted to welcome the local community to our summer fete for a day of exciting family-friendly activities. Here at Whitby Dene we are always looking for ways we can build strong relationships with the people of Eastcote, and holding a summer fete was brilliant opportunity.
“Both the residents and guests loved the host of entertainment that was on offer throughout the afternoon, and the special visit from the Mayor of Hillingdon was a highlight of the day for all.”
