From 2pm-4pm, the team at Brook Court, on Oldnall Road, will be joined by Parkinson’s Disease Nurse Specialist, Jane Williams, to offer helpful guidance and practical tips for improving the everyday lives of those affected by Parkinson’s.
Jane will be on hand to provide information for those affected by Parkinson’s, and will also be able to offer attendees further information on local support groups and specialist services in Kidderminster and the surrounding areas.
There will be a Q&A session to give everyone and the opportunity for everyone to share experiences. attendees will also be able to meet the team at Brook Court and take a closer look at the care home.
Home manager at Brook Court, Joanne Gill, said: “According to Parkinson’s UK, someone in the UK is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease every hour, and more than 127,000 people are currently living with the condition.
“Across Care UK, we care many residents living with Parkinson’s and we have seen how the experiences of individuals and their families can be transformed simply by having access to the right information and support.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the community to Brook Court and we are sure that those that are able to attend will benefit from the specialist knowledge and expert advice on offer.”
