Davers Court helps spread the festive feeling

Home news

Davers Court invited the local community to spread some festive cheer at its Christmas fete.

The team at the home hosted the Christmas celebrations for residents and local people who took part in a day of festivities.

Guests were able to enjoy a selection of festive treats including a Christmas cake sale, and try their luck on the tombola.

Visitors also had the opportunity to start their Christmas shopping at a number of stalls selling seasonal crafts and gifts.

Trevor ‘Budgie’ Walton was on hand throughout the day to get everyone in the Christmas spirit, with a variety of festive hits and a sing a-long of the residents’ best loved carols around the tree.

Wendy Harvey, home manager at Davers Court, said: “There have been so many highlights at Davers Court over the past year, so our Christmas fete was a great opportunity to reflect and celebrate with our friends, family and residents here at the home.

“It is important to us to forge relationships with the local community, and we all had a lovely time sharing the festive feeling with our guests on the day.”
