Join Brook Court for a royal celebration this Care Home Open Day

Home news

Brook Court is inviting local people to visit the home to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

On Saturday 21st April, from 11.30am-4pm the team at Brook Court will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

To commemorate the Queen’s 92nd birthday, Brook Court has organised a royal-inspired party to celebrate the open day. With homemade crowns at the ready, entertainment will include live music throughout the day. There will also be a tea party with homemade cakes, and visitors will have a chance to meet Brook Court’s friendly team.

Gillian Pratt, home manager at Brook Court, said:“Care Home Open Day provides residents and the Care UK team with a fantastic opportunity to welcome the local community in to home. There is already a buzz around the home, as residents prepare for the big day. We hope that the people of Kidderminster will join us in celebrating the Queen’s birthday and making this year’s Care Home Open Day one to remember.”
