On Friday 20th April, from 12pm-4pm, the team at Charlotte House will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
To commemorate the Queen’s 92nd birthday, Charlotte House has organised a royal-inspired party to celebrate the open day. With homemade crowns at the ready, entertainment will include live music and a royal-themed quiz. There will also be fun for all the family with games and sports to enjoy, including golf and cricket. Visitors will be able to enjoy the best of British food and refreshments and will get a chance to meet Charlotte House’s friendly team.
Zoe Smith, home manager at Charlotte House, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community that spans the generations.
“We cannot wait to open our doors to showcase everything Charlotte House has to offer, and the difference care homes can make to peoples’ lives and their wellbeing. Residents have enjoyed creating homemade crowns ahead of the royal celebration, and we look forward to welcoming the people of Isleworth for what promises to be a fun-filled day.”
