Home news

Charlotte House is inviting the local community to its fun day on Saturday 28thJuly – featuring a special visit from the ‘King’.

From 1.30pm-4.30pm, local people are invited to drop into the care home to join in with an afternoon fun activities, delicious food and live entertainment.

Guests will be treated to a barbecue specially prepared by Charlotte House’s chefs from 1.30pm and will be able to try their luck at a ‘grand’ raffle.

To top off the day, there will be a special performance from an Elvis impersonator at 2.30pm, performing the iconic singer’s most famous hits.

Zoe Smith, home manager at Charlotte House, said: “Hosting a summer party provides us with a wonderful opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun. With many residents growing up in the 1950s, I’m sure the Elvis impersonator will bring back memories! It will certainly give us the perfect opportunity to don our blue suede shoes and boogie woogie to some classic rock and roll music.

“We look forward to welcoming the community to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
