Mountbatten Grange searches for Windsor's local heroes

Home news

Mountbatten Grange is asking the community to nominate ‘’local heroes’ for the chance to win a £300 cash prize.

Ahead of the opening in November this year, the home is searching for local people or organisations who go above and beyond for their community, friends or family, and have a positive impact on the local area.

The winner of the ‘local heroes’ competition will receive a £300 cash prize and will be invited to the opening and grand launch event at the start of 2019. There will also be two runners up, the first will win £200 and the second will receive a £100 cash prize.

Saad Baig, home manager at Mountbatten Grange, said: “We all know that one person who organises everything, is always there for others and never shies away from offering a helping hand – so here at Mountbatten Grange we want to say thank you.

“Whether they’re a volunteer at a local charity, a community group that really makes a difference to the area, or simply someone who goes that extra mile for others – share your story with us so we can reward them with the treat they deserve.”

To nominate ‘local heroes’, visit www.careuk.com/care-homes/mountbatten-grange-windsor before 14th December 2018 and explain in 100-400 words why they deserve to be rewarded.

The marketing suite at Mountbatten Grange will be open to the public from Monday 24th September and anyone that wants to find out more about what life will be like at the care home is invited to visit.
