All welcome for sneak peek inside Basingstoke’s new multi-million-pound care home

A new care home in Basingstoke is inviting the community to celebrate its completion with an exclusive first look inside the purpose-built home. 

Dashwood Manor, on Bradley Way, is opening its doors from Friday 3^rd September to Sunday 5^th September to give local people the opportunity to take a closer look at the brand-new home before it welcomes the first residents. 

 

Members of the public can now book an appointment to meet the team and take a tour around the new care home, which includes with its own cinema, hairdressing salon, café and pub, and will provide full-time residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 70 residents.

Dil Perera, Home Manager at Dashwood Manor, said: “The team is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the first residents in September, and before they begin to move in we can’t wait to show the community the fantastic new home we have created here in Basingstoke. The open days will allow people to tour the care home's facilities and speak with the team, as well as get a glimpse of what life will be like at Dashwood Manor on a day-to-day basis. Visitors will also be able to find out more about the types of activities that will be available, as well as our cuisine and other amenities. Ultimately, it’s a great opportunity for people to get a real feel of the place.

Designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence, the new care home, which is set to open later this year, will incorporate space for hobby and leisure activities. Luxury facilities will include a café, hair and beauty salon, cinema and bar, and stunning gardens.
