All fired up! Westbury-on-Trym care home hosts summer open day

A care home in Westbury-on-Trym is inviting the local community to its family friendly, summer open day.  

On Thursday 25^th August, from 2pm-6pm, the team at Care UK’s Trymview Hall, on Southmead Road, is welcoming local people for a day of summer fun. 

Guests will be treated to a barbecue specially prepared by the home’s chef and invited to tap their feet along to live music from Mini Concerts Bristol, who will sing some of the residents’ favourite songs. 

There will also be traditional stalls and games, including hook-a-duck, tin alley, a tombola and a raffle. Residents’ recent arts and crafts projects will also be on display for all to enjoy. 

Those visiting will also get the chance to take a tour around Trymview Hall and see exactly what life is like at the home.

Trymview Hall provides full-time residential and dementia care, with 66 ensuite bedrooms, and has been designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence. The care home will incorporate space for hobby and leisure activities and will include its own cinema, hairdressing salon and café.
