First look inside Saffron Walden care home

A new care home in Saffron Walden is inviting the community to explore its luxury facilities.

Care UK’s Bailey Lodge, on Radwinter Road, will be opening its doors on 14th and 15th February and 21st and 22nd February from 10am-4pm.

Guests will be able to take a tour around the care home, including the cinema, hair and beauty salon and pub.

They will also have the opportunity to meet the team and chat to the Home Manager, Abhilash Gopi as the home officially opens in February.

Abhilash said: “We're excited to open the doors to Bailey Lodge and welcome the community into our wonderful new home.

“We understand the importance of making a care home feel like home, which is why we encourage local people to visit, meet the team and learn why life in a Care UK home is special.

“We’re incredibly proud of the warm and welcoming environment we’re creating here, and we’re looking forward to meeting the people of Saffron Walden and the surrounding areas so they can experience it for themselves!”

Designed to allow residents to lead active and fulfilling lives, while also promoting independence, Bailey Lodge incorporates plenty of space for hobby and leisure activities. The layout of the building is configured into a series of individual suites, each having a dedicated lounge/dining room to facilitate the creation of close-knit communities. Full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care, will be provided by an expert team.
