Blossomfield Grange's refurbishment

We’ve had a huge renovation of all our communal areas to ensure that our home’s facilities are luxurious and dementia friendly.

All communal areas on the lower ground, first and second floor neighbourhoods have undergone a full transformation, with fresh, new colour schemes and luxurious curtains to brand-new flooring and furniture to provide additional comfort to residents.

Starting with our beautiful communal café, which has been transformed into a beautiful, light space for our families to enjoy a coffee and cake with their loved ones. 

Our dining room has also been extended and is now more open and brighter so residents have a more social and pleasant dining experience. We’ve even refurbished our beautiful private dining room, perfect for a celebration or family meal.

During the refurbishment there’s been a full reconfiguration of all the facilities, including our hair and beauty salon, namaste room, activities room and lounges.

We’ve also created on the first floor, a stunning new activities lounge which has become a hub of activity and joy with activities from our amazing Lifestyle team that keep our residents fit and their lives fulfilled. Whether your loved one like to keep their brain active with quizzes, scrabble games or intergenerational activities, all of our residents can live their lives the way they want.

In our quest to become a recognised leader in the field of Dementia Care, our Reminiscence Neighbourhood has been transformed to include subtle cognitive reinforcement cues along with premium interior design touches to integrate life skills stations and destination points.

We are also currently waiting for our gardens to be fully refurbished, and a conservatory added – perfect for dining in the summer months.
