What others have to say

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Bourley Grange care home.

They look after my loved one so well. They are kind and patient and they keep her active, clean and well fed. I visit often and at different times of the day, sometimes the atmosphere is calm and other times they are dancing and singing karaoke, it’s great, you never know what to expect. There is just a positive feeling about the place. Leadership is good and the team get on well with each other, it feels like a united front. There's a feeling of harmony in the way they go about everything, everyone knows what they are doing.

Relative of a resident, April 2026

They work really well as a team and everyone goes above what I expected in terms of helping the residents get the most out of their days. They really want the residents to enjoy their time and they put in the effort to get to know everyone individually. They understand the needs and limitations of each individual and activities are organised to suit different interests and capabilities. My loved one is still quite active and they let him keep to his own schedule; he’s not expected to be like everyone else.

Relative of a resident, April 2026

I can't fault the carers, they are wonderful with my loved one. They are very respectful and gentle with her, never harsh in any way, and they spend time with her. They listen and help raise her spirits if she's feeling a little down. They are great with us as a family too. They keep us involved with our loved one's care, and we get involved with special events in the home. There is a great family feel about the home. We love it!

Relative of a resident, December 2025

The team members are just lovely people. They have a laugh with each other and with the residents. They are professional and friendly and they seem to get along really well with each other. Not once have I been and felt any awkwardness in the air; it's a lovely atmosphere, and that's down to the team.

Relative of a resident, December 2025

They know my loved one well, and they help her to keep involved with activities that she enjoys like art and music. They have singing groups, they make flower arrangements for their dinner tables, they cook sometimes with the chef… there is always something happening. I'm often invited to special occasions, and I can join the activities any time I like... it's like I'm part of the family.
