Forth Bay is a welcoming care home in Kincardine, located close to the River Forth. Our experienced teams specialise in nursing care, as well as offering respite and compassionate end of life care.

Residents at the Fife care home can enjoy many quality facilities including communal areas, kitchenettes within each suite and a hair salon. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with an en-suite bathroom. Outside there are large, landscaped grounds, ideal for relaxing with loved ones.

Our experienced and well-trained team aim to deliver person-led, individualised care to residents. There is always something to look forward to as the activities team organises a wide range of engaging activities and outings in our minibus.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

I strive to give our residents the care and lifestyle they wish to have and endeavour to involve them in every aspect of their care. As well as spending time with residents and making sure that they are comfortable, safe and happy, I see it as an important part of my role to act as a mentor to my team.

When I knew my loved one would be going into care I had to go and see all of the homes in the area. This is the only one that felt like a happy environment and a place I could imagine her feeling at home. They approach each person as an individual, nobody is treated as a number or a patient. They listen to the family and learn about the lives of the residents so they can talk about things that interest them. They have made my loved one feel so welcome and she tells me how much she enjoy their chats, she thinks they are lovely.

Our loved one can be tricky at times and the team really have a job with her in the mornings. They have learned how to approach her and they respect her when she refuses to cooperate, they encourage but never force her. They put in the time to get to know her and they respect her for who she is.
