When you’re looking for a care home for a much loved family member, you want to know that the people who will be caring for them are highly trained and passionate about giving your loved one the very best care, treating them with dignity and respect.
We find out all we can about your loved one, so that we can organise socially distanced activities, events and entertainment that they’ll love. And, if they want to get involved in helping us to organise those activities, then so much the better! There are no limits at Hartismere Place.
Keeping active. Staying independent
We understand the importance of social interaction, so fun and varied activities form a vital part of everyday life at Hartismere Place. Your loved one is very welcome to make suggestions of things they’d like to do, alongside the regular activities programme of quizzes and games, sing-alongs and baking.
Residents are welcome to use a range of technology to keep in touch with friends and family, with the support of our friendly team. Online and virtual entertainment is also on offer as part of the homes engaging lifestyle programme.
Superb food every day
There’s always a buzz around our Eye care home at mealtimes, when residents get together to enjoy the delicious and nutritious dishes served up by our chef-led kitchen team. We also provide in-room dinning for those who prefer, or need, additional distancing.
At Hartismere Place we cater for all tastes, diets and cultural requirements. There’s always plenty of choice, and your loved one is welcome to come back for seconds or thirds. Snacks and drinks are available in all our suites 24 hours a day too.

A care home that’s all about family
We hold monthly meetings with residents and quarterly meetings with relatives, but we’re regularly in touch with relatives to give them updates about their loved ones. We have a dedicated team of relatives who form our ‘Hartismere Group’.
