I joined the care sector in 2012 and have worked in different roles and alongside exceptional teams to deliver high quality care.

 The care, kindness and support extends to the residents' families and friends as well, whom we have the privilege of assisting. I feel very passionate about being part of the family here, bringing so much joy and happiness to the resident's lives, and I am proud that we are able to make such a difference in crucial moments of an individual's journey. As the acting General Manager at the home, I am responsible for ensuring strong and focused leadership and the highest standards of care for all residents. I also have a strong, experienced and enthusiastic management team who will support me to promote good education, and guidance and enthusiasm to all team members. It is my responsibility to ensure that the home remains compliant, effective, treats residents with respect and dignity, and most of all makes the home a lovely place to live and work.

it’s a pleasure to speak with prospective residents and their families, providing them with as much information as possible so they can make an informed decision. It can often be an anxious time, and I take great pride in making the transition a ‘home from home’ experience. Ensuring that residents needs are met is a combined team effort. Coming from a hospitality and wellness background, ensuring high client satisfaction is central to my ethos of excellent customer service, and I love working as part of the team.

I am passionate about the wellbeing of each individual resident and constantly seek better ways to help them get the most out of their day. Since joining the home in October 2018, I have been establishing links with the local community helping to foster relationships with schools, clubs, shops and making the most of what Chingford and the wider areas has to offer.

As Head Housekeeper my role is to ensure the cleanliness of the home on a daily basis.

I lead a dedicated team of housekeepers who are very passionate about their role - they make sure that the home is kept to the highest standard, as well as ensuring the safety of the residents within the home. I really enjoy my role as Head Housekeeper, getting to know the residents and ensuring their home looks and feels at its best.

Our dedicated lifestyle teams work hard to organise a range of activities and events at our home. From gardening and baking to quizzes, music sessions and even live entertainment. Above all, we get to know your loved one to make sure our activities are tailored to suit their interests and hobbies.

Infection control

Each of our homes have a trained Infection Control and Prevention Champion – they are responsible for carrying out daily infection control audit and ensuring cleaning protocols are meticulously applied.
