Welcome to our new Thame care home

When our new Thame care home opens its doors in October 2023 it will deliver high quality, tailored care for up to 68 older people.

Our skilled and experienced team will provide round-the-clock permanent and respite residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as compassionate end-of-life care. And if your loved one needs some extra support after a stay in hospital, we offer short-term respite care too.

Our new Thame care home will be designed to the latest and highest standards, with its own café, cinema, bar and hair salon. Each of the spacious and individually decorated rooms with have an en-suite wet room too, and ground floor bedrooms will open onto their own patio and the home’s beautifully landscaped gardens.

Life at our home

Life at our Thame care home will be whatever your loved one would like it to be. We’ll learn all about your loved one and their life so we can organise activities, entertainment and experiences – even delicious food and drink – they’ll love. Everything about our home will be resident-led. That means your loved one can be fully involved in decision-making about the home, activities, décor and much more.

We are calling on local history enthusiasts and Thame natives to suggest a name for our new home that will reflect the uniqueness of the area.

Our home naming competition can be entered by an individual or organisation of any size; the only condition is that the chosen name must reflect Thame’s history or culture. The winner will then be presented with a £250 donation.
