Find out more about planning future care at Colne View

Home news

People in Halstead who are considering long-term care for themselves or a loved one are invited to attend a free Planning Care for the Future event at Colne View.

On Thursday 16th March, from 2pm–4pm, the team will open the doors to the care home for the advice-led event.

Penny Griffiths, from Eldercare and a representative from Hill & Abbott Solicitors, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. They will also be on hand to offer their expertise in a Q&A session.

Home manager at Colne View, Omar Taylor, said: “At Colne View we strongly believe professional knowledge, insight and shared experiences can make a real difference to the everyday lives of those planning care for themselves or for loved ones.

“We are delighted to welcome specialists to the care home to provide guidance on wills, Power of Attorney and Court of Protection, alongside additional practical advice.

“We hope all those considering future care will take the opportunity to benefit from their expertise.”
