Community fun day comes to Colne View

Colne View is inviting the local community to join them on Friday 8th September for an afternoon of fun at its summer fete.

From 1pm-4pm, local people are invited to drop into Colne View to join in the fun, games and summer celebrations at this year’s event.

Residents and visitors will be treated to a delicious Pimms afternoon tea prepared specially by the care home’s chefs, as well as a pop-up ice cream bar. Entertainment will be provided by local pianist, Angie Rutland, who will get everyone into the party spirit with her upbeat and lively repertoire.

Guests will also have the opportunity to speak to the team and find out what life is like at Colne View.

Omar Taylor, home manager at Colne View, said: “Hosting a summer fete provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.

“Here at Colne View, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of Halstead, and we look forward to welcoming those in the local area to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
