Adriana Ayala at Ogilvy Court in Wembley, has worked for Care UK for over 20 years, and remained at Ogilvy Court for the duration of this time.
Financial administrator, Adriana, started working at Care UK back in 1997 believing it was a “career opportunity [she] couldn’t miss out on.” Two decades later, Adriana is still enjoying her job, and offering a “smile and pleasant atmosphere” to everyone she greets.
Thinking about her time at Ogilvy Court, one of Adriana’s fondest memories is welcoming her daughter to the home for work experience during her time at college, which inspired her to go on to become a nurse.
Speaking about the accolade Adriana said: “I am delighted to have been recognised for my hard work – I was so shocked when I was told. Ogilvy Court has been my home-from-home for twenty years now, and yet to this day the biggest highlight for me has to be that a former home manager believed in me enough to give me a chance.
“I am a South American lady and English is not my first language, yet the equal opportunities Care UK provides has given me a career I didn’t know was possible. I would like to thank the team at Ogilvy Court for their support over the last 20 years, and I hope to continue for another twenty years helping and inspiring others.”
Tanja Milevska home manager at Ogilvy Court added: “Adriana is incredibly passionate about her job and we are thrilled to be able to recognise her hard work and dedication. She is the lynchpin of the care home for team members and visitors alike – we don’t know what we would do without her!”
