Welcome to Scarlet House

Scarlet House is a luxury care home located in the heart of Stroud. Our experienced team provide high-quality residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. We are known as a ‘home for life’, when a loved one’s needs may change, we are here to support throughout with a tailored care plan.

Our care home is purpose-built and has many facilities including a modern café, cinema room and pub to enjoy! The bedrooms at Scarlet House can be individually decorated and furnished with your own belongings. They all have an en-suite wet room, a flatscreen TV, electronically adjustable beds and 24-hour nurse call system.

Set within a beautiful location, residents can enjoy scenic walks as the Stroudwater canal is just on our doorstep, and some bedrooms even overlook the Stroud hills. We are also close to town too, meaning you are only ever moments away from local shops and amenities.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

As Home Manager, it’s important to be caring, compassionate and have a good eye for detail. You also need to have good interpersonal skills and be diligent, hardworking and committed to the home. I love seeing the residents enjoying activities in the home – it's my favourite part of my working day. I’m proud to work with a fantastic team who make a difference in residents’ day-to-day lives.

It's a lovely place, very welcoming and friendly… lovely people. My loved one has all that she needs, they cater for her needs very well. There is always someone on hand if she needs anything and whenever I visit she is always looking clean and smart, hair done, make up, the lot.
