Lucy Blackburn

Registered Manager

Lucy Blackburn

I joined Care UK through a transfer from another care provider and am proud to continue leading the team here at Louth Manor.

I have completed all mandatory training and I’m close to finishing my Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.

Organisation, teamwork and problem-solving are central to how I work, and I always aim to ensure tasks and actions are completed to the highest standard by the end of each day.

I believe the most important qualities for a Home Manager are understanding, approachability and the ability to lead by example. At Louth Manor, I strive to be present, supportive and accountable every day, whether that’s guiding my team, offering emotional support, or spending meaningful time with residents. My favourite moments are the interactions with residents, seeing them happy, settled and enjoying life in our home.

My biggest career highlight so far has been managing my first home and achieving a “Good” rating in all areas from the Care Quality Commission. I also take great pride in supporting colleagues to progress in their careers, just as I have.

Outside of work, I enjoy dog walking, shopping, family time, cinema trips and holidays.

Zoe Fisher
Zoe Fisher
Activity Lead

I first joined Louth Manor as a Domestic and, over time, worked my way up to become the home’s Activity Lead, something I’m really proud of.

It’s been a wonderful journey, and I’ve loved every step of getting to know our residents and finding new ways to brighten their days.

In this role, patience, good communication and a positive attitude are key. I take pride in creating activities that bring fun, joy and plenty of smiles to Louth Manor’s residents.

The best part of my day is always spending time with the residents, chatting, laughing and helping everyone feel included.

Outside of work, I love exploring new places, going on dog walks and spending quality time with my family.

Domi Clark

Haven Manager

I’m the Haven Manager here at Louth Manor, and I’ve completed my NVQ Level 3 as well as training in Dementia and Positive Behavioural Support and Medication Management.

I started my career as a Care Assistant, and over the years I’ve learned the importance of being calm, approachable and open-minded in everything I do. The most important part of my role is supporting residents to be actively involved in their own care, helping to build engagement and self-esteem every day.

My favourite part of the day is simple, seeing a resident smile. It reminds me that we’re all making a positive difference. I’m also proud to support colleagues as they progress in their own roles and grow in confidence.

A big career highlight for me was learning to administer medication. It was something I was nervous about at first, but now it’s a skill I’m really proud of.

Outside of work, I love hiking, relaxing in the hot tub and spending time with my dogs.

Mark Vines
Mark Vines
Head Chef

As Head Chef at Louth Manor, I bring a range of professional training and experience to the role, including City & Guilds 706 Levels 1–3, NVQ Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene, HACCP, Risk Assessment, COSHH and Strategic Management. Before joining Care UK, I worked as Head Chef and Project Manager at an estate in Lincolnshire.

To do this job well, you need to be pleasant, approachable and hardworking, with high standards and a good understanding of legislation and hygiene. I take real pride in delivering food that’s both nutritious and beautifully presented, always prepared and served to the highest possible standard.

My biggest career highlight so far has been taking part in the Armed Forces Chef Selection World Tour Exchange, an unforgettable experience that shaped my approach to teamwork and precision.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active with health and fitness training and taking my dog for long walks.

Administrator

I’m the Administrator here at Louth Manor, and I’ve completed one-to-one in-house training to support me in my role. Before this, I worked as an Activity Lead, which gave me a great understanding of what helps make a home feel warm, welcoming and well organised.

To do my job well, I think it’s important to have a pleasant personality, great communication and customer service skills, and to be able to stay organised and prioritise tasks effectively. My favourite part of the day is when I can look back knowing that everything is up to date and running smoothly.

I’m proud to have progressed through my career to a management level, and I take real pride in building strong relationships with colleagues, residents and their families. For me, the most important part of my role is making sure that everyone who visits or lives at Louth Manor has a positive and welcoming experience.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and pets – and I never say no to a good karaoke night!

Tricia Timson
Tricia Timson
Head Housekeeper

I began my career in care as a Senior Carer before moving into housekeeping, where I discovered how much I enjoy creating a clean, welcoming and comfortable environment for residents.

For my role, I’ve completed all relevant Care UK training, which has given me the skills to lead my team with confidence and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the home.

To do this role well, I believe you need to be organised, have great attention to detail and be a real team player. I love socialising with residents, their families and my colleagues, it’s one of the best parts of my day. It’s so rewarding to see residents happy and to know the home is looking its best. Taking on new challenges and seeing the positive results of our hard work always makes me feel proud.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren, going for walks and reading.
