Leadership team appointed at Snowdrop House

Home news

Snowdrop House has appointed several members of the local community to make up its senior team.

Cheryl Forshaw, home manager at Snowdrop House, has recruited a senior team with a wealth of experience. These include Sharon Butler, customer relations manager, Michelle Humphreys, suite lead, Louise Halls, business administrator, Liam McNaughton, maintenance manager, Sarah Arch, head housekeeper and Matt McGovern, head chef.

Commenting on the appointments, Cheryl said: “Snowdrop House is a state-of-the-art care home and, while every design detail has been considered to provide the highest standards of care, having the right people working in the home is crucial to the overall experience of residents.

“I’ve worked as a home manager for almost 20 years, and I love my job. I am excited to be joining a forward-thinking and growing care provider and to lead a team of highly experience, skilled individuals.

“Sharon Butler, customer relations manager, has worked in the industry for more than 25 years, including three years here at Care UK. Families warm to Sharon very quickly, her kind and compassionate nature is exactly what we’re looking for here at Snowdrop House.

“Michelle Humphreys, suite lead, may be the youngest member of our senior team, but her qualifications are second to none. I know Michelle is looking forward to taking on an exciting new challenge here in Ware and I look forward to welcoming her to the team.

“Our new head chef, Matt McGovern, has plenty of experience, having previously worked in hotels, country clubs, restaurants and private hospitals. He will be on hand to adapt the dining experience according to every individual’s likes and needs, following Care UK’s commitment to ensuring all residents enjoy mealtimes.”

“Trained carpenter, Liam McNaughton, will take on the role as maintenance manager, having previously worked up and down the country restoring old buildings and safeguarding them for future years. He is looking forward to fitting into the new team and getting to know the residents.

“Sarah Arch, head housekeeper, has worked in the care industry for the last year, having previously taken time off to raise her two young daughters. She is excited to take on a new challenge here at Ware and I am looking forward to working with her.

“Louise Halls has been appointed as business administrator, having previously held a similar position at the Metropolitan Police Service. Louise’s eye for detail, caring nature and willingness to take on new challenges makes her the perfect person for the job here at Snowdrop House.

“We’re also delighted to welcome Alex Clapuci our new clinical lead, who I am sure will be a brilliant asset to the team.”
