Residents at a care home in Aberdeen have been treated to a surprise visit from some very special four-legged companions.
The team at Care UK’s Tor-Na-Dee, on North Deeside Road in Milltimber, welcomed new friends in the form of two dogs for an afternoon of tail-wagging fun.

The animals were brought in by Yogi and Cindy Bears, a charity that protects life, promotes wellbeing and brings compassionate support to communities across Scotland with its team of trained Newfoundland dogs.
The event was filled with plenty of fuss, cuddles and playtime, delighting residents and pooches alike.
Resident Katherine Clark, 90, said: “I grew up with dogs, and these were really big and fluffy. They were really nice company and made me very happy.”
The home organised the session after being inspired by the positive impact animal visits have had on residents’ wellbeing and hearing how much they enjoyed the company of their own pets in their younger years.
Sue Jones-Wood, Home Manager at Tor-Na-Dee, said: “We all had such a fun time welcoming Yogi and Cindy Bears into the home.
“Being close to animals can help lift a person’s mood and stimulate social interaction – and our cuddly companions were brilliant at doing just that!
“A big thank you to Yogi and Cindy Bears for joining us. We’re already looking forward to hosting our next event!”
Tor-Na-Dee provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care. Designed to enable residents to lead enjoyable and fulfilling lives, the care home has its very own cinema, hair and beauty salon and gardens, and there is plenty of space – both indoors and out – for relaxation and recreation.
