Welcome to Kentford Manor

Kentford Manor is a luxury care home near the town's famous racecourse and vibrant centre, set in the Suffolk countryside with excellent transport links. Our dedicated team provide nursing, dementia and residential care, as well as short term respite care.

Residents enjoy stylish lounges, a welcoming bistro, and ensuite bedrooms, with larger suites available for couples. Our newly refurbished residential suite offers large en-suite rooms, many with their own kitchenettes and separate living area – perfect for couples or for those wanting more space to relax or entertain visitors. Your loved one can enjoy the many premium facilities, including a hair and beauty salon and cinema room.

We provide a varied activity programme and our outings to local areas of interest are a hit. Our minibus provides regular trips out including trips to local shops and attractions. Residents can unwind with friends and family in our beautifully landscaped gardens and peaceful sensory garden.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

The home is owned by WT UK Opco 4 Limited and is managed and staffed by Care UK.

At our Kentford care home our dedicated Activities Coordinators enjoy helping residents to maintain friendships and interests in the local community. Our daily activites include arts and crafts and pamper sessions in our hair and beauty salon. As well as the range of events we hold inside our care home, we also organise trips, celebrate special occasions and we like to get involved with the local community.

My loved one is in beautiful accommodation and the team provide round the clock care for her. She is very old now and she requires full nursing care, but they still encourage her to take short walks with a frame and make use of her remaining capacities. She’s in good company, they care about her and they chat with her about her life. It’s a good place for her to be.

They work well as a team and because the team functions well, everyone is generally happy in their work, which filters through to the residents. They value the residents and the care is very much person-centred. Everything I have experienced has been reassuring. Even in making a mistake, they proved they could be trusted, they missed a dose of medication and called me immediately to explain what had happened and how they will ensure it doesn't happen again.

The home itself is clean, fresh and well maintained, and the care my loved one receives is excellent. The team has developed a lovely relationship with her. Her face lights up when they come in, and I can see they genuinely care about her. They understand that I'm not able to visit as often as I would like, so we are in regular contact by telephone, and I'm always consulted if any changes need to be made. I'm involved with monthly reviews too and they take my input very seriously. If I mention anything I'd like to see improved it's dealt with immediately.

My loved one is very happy there, and she is getting the care that she needs. She has dementia and significant mobility issues and the team thoroughly understand her limitations and her care needs. They are kind, friendly people. They listen to what she has to say and they treat her respectfully. They cater to her preferences whenever they can and they make her life so much more comfortable and enjoyable than I imagined possible at this stage of her life.

My loved one has never been a big eater and she can be fussy when it comes to food, but she's happy with the food in the home. There are always plenty of options and the chef will make her something special if she doesn’t fancy what's on the menu. It's a relief knowing they take such good care with the meals.
