Thank you for your interest in Addington Heights. Unfortunately, we are not accepting any new admissions at this time.

The home will be transferring to Eleanor Nursing and Social Care Ltd on Wednesday 1st April 2026.

When my loved one was receiving care in her own home I would only get calls if something was wrong. I was in a constant state of low-level anxiety worrying about her. She has dementia and it's such a relief knowing that she has round-the-clock care. I'm in regular contact with the home, and they will call to let me know how she's getting on. It's wonderful to know that each time the phone rings it's not bad news.

Each person is treated as an individual in the home. It’s vital that the team understand each person's individual needs, and getting to know them personally helps immensely. My loved one is very happy in the home, and we are reassured as a family that she is looked after and surrounded by people who genuinely care about her.

Communication from the home is excellent! We are informed immediately if there is an issue with our loved one, and we are involved in regular review meetings to discuss her care and support. They call us regularly to keep us up to date with how she is getting on, and they genuinely want to ensure we are happy with the care she is receiving.

The care is second to none! The carers are wonderful people, and they truly understand the needs of the residents. They respond well to the changing needs of my loved one. They don’t just do the basics for her, they go out of their way to make sure she is happy in the home... they even do her nails for her when they have time. Everyone is so kind!

The menu is always clearly displayed, and they provide a surprisingly good range of options so residents can choose what they like. The food itself is excellent quality and always prepared freshly on the premises by proper chefs.
