Meet the team

The dedicated and experienced team at Hadrian House will provide your loved one with care that is completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes.

As a Home Manager, I believe it’s essential to be open, approachable, a good listener, and to lead by example while encouraging others to develop their skills and confidence. My favourite part of the day is when a resident smiles at me, knowing that the team and I have made a positive difference in their day. Those moments are incredibly rewarding and remind me why I do what I do.

What others have to say

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Hadrian House care home.

When my loved one first went into the home it was because he had been diagnosed with dementia and we were not able to care for him in the family home. We knew they had specialist dementia care training, but as his condition has progressed, we have come to appreciate how precious their skill and their compassion has been for the entire family. They manage to maintain a positive attitude in their work even when he has a string of bad days, it never affects how they speak to him and they never quit trying to engage with him.

My first impression with this home was how welcome I was made to feel and how clean, light and airy it felt. The team all looked very professional in clean uniforms, they looked the part. I went to several other homes and didn't have that experience at all. I visit several times each week and no matter when I turn up, team are always courteous and friendly, and they take a genuine interest in me and my loved one, it’s the same with all of the residents and their families.

Relative of a resident, April 2026

Nothing is too much trouble for the team. They take wonderful care of my loved one. From the moment she moved in I've seen nothing but genuine care for the wellbeing of the residents. The team seems very well trained and there are plenty of activities and entertainment organised to help keep everyone active. My loved one is much happier since she moved into the home, and she has a social life for the first time in years.

Relative of a resident, December 2025

I work within the NHS so I am fully aware of how hard the team work. They speak to my loved one as if they have known him for years. They laugh and joke and have a good rapport with him. That is such an important part of the care they provide, brightening the day of the residents with a smile and a kind word.

Relative of a resident, December 2025

The team really takes the time to get to know the residents. They understand how to approach them and deal with their specific needs. Everyone is really well trained and they genuinely care. I know my loved one is in the best place!
