An annual awards ceremony has seen Care UK colleagues awarded for their dedication, hard work and achievements.
A number of individuals and teams working within the company’s residential services division were given awards at a celebration to mark the achievements of colleagues across Care UK’s 92 care homes and day clubs and supporting offices.
Among the teams to take home an award was a number of home managers based in the North East and headed up by Regional Director Karen Morrison.
The Regional Team award was created to mark the achievements of a specific region that has put in the hard work required to meet Care UK’s high standards, and entries and nominations were judged on criteria based on performance, quality and engagement.
The home managers joining Karen in winning the award came from Armstrong House, Cheviot Court, Church View, Collingwood Court, Elwick Grange, Grangewood, Hadrian House, Hadrian Park, Ponteland Manor and Stanley Park.
Finance and Commercial Director Angela Culhane said: “The homes in this region have been transformed since coming under the wing of the Care UK North East team in terms of their quality and compliance, relationships with residents and commissioners and colleague engagement. We are really proud of the achievements of this team and of the progress made in these homes.”
