At Oak House, we offer a warm welcome together with high quality care for older people.
We are here to support you and your loved one through your journey into care and are able to offer a limited number of appointments for in-person show rounds of our care home. Call to speak to one of our friendly team who can take you through a short health screening questionnaire and book you in for a tour. If you’re considering care for yourself or a loved one, we’re here for you.
Set in a peaceful residential area of Slough, Oak House is a modern, purpose-built care home that offers personalised permanent and respite nursing, residential and dementia care to older people. We also offer sensitive and supportive end of life care.
Supporting independence
We believe in supporting residents to be as active and independent as possible. We will get to know your loved one well so we can offer them engaging and fulfilling activities and experiences based on their interests. We love to see residents getting involved in our different clubs, keeping up with their old hobbies and trying out new things. Oak House has spacious rooms and living areas, and is organised into eight suites, each with its own dining room, lounge, television room, cinema room and pamper room. The home also has a hair salon, with two visiting hair stylists.
Residents’ rooms are large and bright, with en-suite facilities, stylish furniture, a 24-hour nurse call system and telephone, internet and television connections. While there’s everything they need here, your loved one is welcome to bring their own personal possessions to make them feel more at home. Some of our ground floor rooms have direct access onto our gardens. We have over an acre of grounds, including secure landscaped gardens and courtyards.
