Care UK is sponsoring The Alzheimer’s Show, which is being held in London this week.

The event is the UK’s only national exhibition and conference dedicated to people who deal with Alzheimer’s and dementia on a daily basis.

Taking place on April 19 and 20, the show is aimed at the increasing number of carers, relatives, professionals and those living with dementia who often may not know where to turn for answers.

The Alzheimer’s Show will be packed with products, services and information as well as providing practical help and solutions for people living and working with dementia.

Care UK’s Head of Dementia Care, Maizie Mears-Owen, will be speaking at the show on both days –offering expert advice on caring for those living with dementia and Care UK’s unique approach to care.

Taking place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Vincent Square, the show will feature a conference theatre with a number of speakers talking about issues such as nutrition, exercise and legal practicalities.

There will also be an Alzheimer’s Talks theatre, where people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia will be able to describe their condition and discuss issues associated with it.

Visitors to the show will also be able to visit the Care UK stand at the show for more information about our services, our homes and our approach to specialist dementia care and support.
