Pear Tree Court is a stunning care home in Waterlooville, Hampshire. Here our dedicated team delivers round-the-clock residential and nursing care, short-term respite care plus specialist dementia care. We also offer sensitive and sympathetic end of life care.

Everyone at Pear Tree Court is passionate about helping your loved one to get the most out of living in our beautiful home. The home has the latest in luxury facilities, including a café, hair salon and cinema – the home even has its own pub. Our dedicated lifestyle team is here to support your loved one to stay active and independent, enjoying interests and trying new things.

Our Horndean care home has 72 en-suite bedrooms over three floors. The home is divided into smaller suites – each with its own lounge, dining room and TV lounge. While every bedroom is beautifully decorated and furnished, your loved one is welcome to bring their own treasured items and small pieces of furniture to feel more at home.

Pear Tree Court is officially a ‘Veteran Friendly Framework’ accredited care home, recognising our best practice and highest standards of care for the Armed Forces community.

We are proud to be accredited with the Gold Standards Framework Care Homes Programme. This demonstrates our skill and commitment to delivering high quality, person-centered care to residents at the end of their life.

My favourite part of being a Home Manager is caring for residents on a long-term basis. This means I have the opportunity to really get to know them and their families and understand how to support them to live fulfilling lives.

The quality of care is exceptionally high! My loved one is one of the difficult residents and the team never fails to surprise me with how skilfully they are able to manage her behaviour! The place is extremely well run, the team members are competent and the ambience is tip top!

Nobody wants their loved one to have to go into a home, and the first few months were challenging for me. It took time for me to accept her condition, and the home has helped me immensely. There are times that she doesn’t recognise me when I visit, but when the team come in to say hello or to check on her she gives them a big smile. It used to upset me, but now I'm just happy knowing she is surrounded by people who can give her the care she needs.
