Our dedicated team provides residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis. Our colleagues are trained to the highest standards and learn all about your loved one’s personality and life story so we can tailor their care and lifestyle to their needs and interests.

We’re delighted with our latest inspection report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which gives us an overall ‘Good’ rating, with ‘Good’ ratings in all five areas inspected. The report includes some wonderful feedback, including from a resident who says, “The team are great, we have a giggle together”. Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Ancasta Grove care home.

The home itself is more like a hotel than a care home in many respects. It doesn’t feel at all crowded; it's modern and beautifully decorated with wide, spacious corridors and lovely furnishings throughout. There is a nice, welcoming café area where residents can meet with their friends and relatives for coffee, pastries, cakes and fruits. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, and some of the private rooms for residents have their own patios with outdoor seating in the sunshine. It's really a lovely place!

I always get the impression that the team genuinely loves their work. They know me and my extended family by name, and they always make time to come and have a chat when we visit. They always know what is going on with my loved one, and they listen to me and take action when I ask for something to be changed or improved. They seem to be genuinely interested in me as a person, and they want to do their best for me and my family.

The team is wonderful with my loved one. They have made the effort to get to know her and to understand what makes her tick. They will sit and chat with her about the things she wants to talk about, they encourage her to explore her interests, and they introduce her to other residents they think she will get along with. They have helped her immensely in finding a quality of life she could never have experienced at home.
