Welcome to Appleby House

Our award-winning care home in Epsom, Surrey, has a far-reaching reputation for its innovative approach to older people’s care, including dementia care.

We find out all we can about your loved one’s interests, needs and values so we can match them to a suite in the home where they can be with likeminded people.

Appleby House is a care home like no other. We’re always finding new ways to enhance every day for residents, whether it’s creating our very own ice-cream parlour or adding a barber shop and nail bar to our hair salon. We even have our own art studio and gallery where we display beautiful artworks created by residents.

We are proud to have been internally accredited with the evidence-based, person-centered Care Fit for VIPS.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

The dedicated and experienced team at Appleby House will provide your loved one with care that is completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes.

As home manager I’m passionate about providing the best possible care to residents to enhance their lives. I love involving residents and my team in how things are run. I believe my role is to lead by example to create a good culture at Appleby House. It’s my job to motivate staff and promote their development through training and supervision. I thrive on working with my team to drive improvement – stretching them and seeing positive change happen.

Every single member of staff gives hundred%. They do everything they can for the benefit of the residents. Nothing is too much trouble and I don't have any complaints about the care my mum receives.

The care staff are outstanding. They are approachable, friendly and very caring. The staff are very efficient in contacting the family when problems arise. They also arrange activities to stimulate the residents. Appleby House has a strong emphasis on the creative arts and musical events which the residents are encouraged to take part in.

You are always welcome, any issues or concerns we have are always put to rest. We live quite far away and we can discuss things with them. You can tell everyone is treated as an individual and they have a deep care for them. The carers seem to love what they are doing.
