What makes Glastonbury Court different?
Everything we do is entirely personalised to your loved one’s needs, preferences and wishes – an aspect that is mentioned throughout our CQC report. We take pride in finding out all we can about residents, so that we can make each day meaningful.
We believe that moving into a care home should feel like a natural continuation of normal life. Our lifestyle team organises a wealth of group and one-to-one activities for your loved one to enjoy. Expect everything from music sessions and film afternoons, to exotic animal visits and visits from the local Brownies and nursery and school children. Residents help us with daily tasks too – tidying up after activities or setting the table for lunch.

Our Bury St Edmunds care home also has some wonderful facilities for residents to enjoy, including a hair and beauty salon, shop, cinema, café, and a ‘Sherlock Holmes’ pub. As our CQC report says, “The pub has proved popular with people who wanted to enjoy the social experience.” In fact, when two residents first saw the dart board it brought back memories for them of playing the game in their local pub.
