Welcome to Kings Court

At Kings Court, we provide specialist residential and respite care for older people. We take pride in delivering flexible, person-centered and innovative care.

There's a bedroom to suit every taste at Kings Court, and each is warm, bright and comfortable. Some rooms have en-suite facilities, and all include furniture, phone, internet and television connections. We also have double rooms for couples and siblings who want to stay together, as well as two apartments.

Our historic building used to be the King’s Head hotel. Charles Dickens once stayed here and even mentioned it in ‘Nicholas Nickleby’. The hotel ballroom is now our residents’ lounge and many of our bedrooms are generously sized too.

We are proud to be accredited with the Gold Standards Framework Care Homes Programme. This demonstrates our skill and commitment to delivering high quality, person-centred care to residents at the end of their life.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.
