Our Prince George day club is currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and we will be reviewing the reopening date of the club in spring 2021.
Currently the day club is helping to support relatives visiting loved ones in our residential care homes.
At our Ipswich day centre, older people can enjoy a change of scene, make new friends and do a range of activities.
At the Prince George Club, we support older people with a range of abilities. Many day club members are living with dementia, or are physically frail. Whatever your loved one’s needs, we help them to get the most out of every day.
We believe in being as flexible as possible, so day club members can come along for anything for a few hours through to a full week. Whenever they join us, they see familiar faces, enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal, and fun times in great company.
The Prince George Club is in a purpose-built, spacious building in the grounds of Prince George House care home on Mansbrook Boulevard. The home has everything members may need, including an assisted bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room. We can help with personal care and support your loved one to maintain their vital daily living skills, so that they can stay living in their own home for longer.
Members are welcome to use the stunning facilities in Prince George House care home, next door, for no extra charge, and even join the home’s residents for activities and entertainment from local performers. The home even has its own hair salon, coffee shop and cinema.
