They are constantly reviewing the care for my aunt. They have outings for the residents as well as lots of events going on. We are kept in touch with of what is going on. It is always clean and the care assistants are always willing to help.

The staff are very good, they’re on the ball. They always let us know about any issues and ask for our opinion on things. Our loved one gets good care; they make sure he is eating well and encourage him to get involved with activities so he's not just sitting around all day. They have plenty to keep him interested, people come into the home, singers and the like, they have quizzes and things, a snooker table, they take them out on day trips... plenty going on.

There are so many reasons I would recommend the home. They have an open-door policy and that shows that they have nothing to hide. They take very good care of my loved one. Whenever we visit he is always clean and tidy, we have never seen him unkept. He himself loves it there, most importantly. They keep us updated with everything going on with him. We went to see him last week and he was sat on his bed with one of the carers singing an old wartime song. They often sit and have a chat with him, and they listen to him. He enjoys the food and when we go in the ladies in the office come and say hello. We had a bit of an issue recently, spoke with the manager about it, she was out the door and back in a jiffy... helped us beyond her duties.

Whenever I visit, the carers have been so helpful and they create a very friendly atmosphere, they are always willing to help you with whatever. I just feel confident and happy with my loved one being there due to the atmosphere. It is very relaxing, and you are made to feel welcome there. I find it quite rewarding spending time there, seeing how they are with the residents. And I know they treat my loved one well... I would soon hear about it if they didn't.

My mum seems very happy there, everything they do with them is great including the activities and personal care. She's gaining weight and the staff do an amazing job. I am an ex carer myself so was looking out for everything but they are brilliant and the manager is fantastic! It is all about her residents.
